 Escalante was led to victory by  Shea Archuleta and  Natalie Aguilar.  Archuleta  had 55  digs, while  Aguilar  had 11  digs and four  aces. That's the most  digs  Aguilar has posted since back in August.
Escalante picked up their first road  victory, bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Jemez Valley,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Escalante and Sanford will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Jemez Valley, they will head out to  take on New Mexico School for the Deaf  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
