Ava Weinbaum was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Carlee Estrada was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Estero's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Palmetto Ridge, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.
