Brindlee Mountain's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zoey Persle, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Persle's trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Autumn Abernathy, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Brindlee Mountain's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Brewer, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing New Hope the next time they take the court. Brindlee Mountain will host New Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Brewer will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
