In what's become a running theme this season, the Warner Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 43-22 margin over West Shores. The team accrued 31 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Warner was led to victory by Anthony Porras and Angel Carachure. Porras scored ten points along with eight steals, while Carachure scored 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Carachure hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Antonio Amado was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Warner has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for West Shores, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warner's road trip will continue as they head out to face San Pasqual Academy at 3:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for West Shores, they will challenge Borrego Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
