Summit Preparatory is 2-8 against The Nueva School since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Summit Preparatory Huskies will head out on the road to square off against The Nueva School Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. Summit Preparatory has insisted on making their lastsix contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-6 during that stretch of close contests.
Summit Preparatory played against Kehillah and lost via forfeit.
The Nueva School can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pescadero 73-36 on the road. The win was just what The Nueva School needed coming off of a 95-69 defeat in their prior match.
The Nueva School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Ciechanover out in front who scored 23 points. Ciechanover has been hot recently, having posted 23 or more points the last three times he's played. Tammer Maraqa was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Summit Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for The Nueva School, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
