This season hasn't been kind to the Psalms Christian Academy Ambassadors, who are still winless after their 12th match. They fell 40-33 to Mount Olive Christian on Monday. Psalms Christian Academy found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 27 to 6 on offense.
Several Ambassadors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micah Christenson, who scored nine points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Christenson grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Jennings, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Mount Olive Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but DYLAN LEWIS led the charge by dropping a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which LEWIS has scored at least a third of Mount Olive Christian's points. Another player making a difference was CADEN GARRIS, who scored four points along with 13 rebounds and nine steals.
Psalms Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Mount Olive Christian, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.
