Granite Falls hasn't had much luck against Cedar Park Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Granite Falls had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Coupeville put an end to it on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves.

Granite Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Haverfield, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Haverfield has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played.
Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Cedar Park Christian faced off against South Whidbey on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 9-4.
Isabela Stewart was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shelby Southard, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Alexis Rogers was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Cedar Park Christian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Whidbey struck out 11 times.
Cedar Park Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Granite Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Granite Falls has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Cedar Park Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .473. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
