Make it five blowout wins for Open Bible Christian this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Northside Christian Academy 53-19 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Open Bible Christian has posted yet this season.
Despite the loss, Northside Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Waylen Kahakua, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Open Bible Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Northside Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Open Bible Christian will challenge Westwood Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Westwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Northside Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against First Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
