After losing to the Belleview Christian Bruins the last time they met, the Front Range Baptist Falcons decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Front Range Baptist walked away with a 32-25 victory over Belleview Christian on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Front Range Baptist.
Despite the loss, Belleview Christian still got an impressive performance from Samantha Ortega, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Ortega hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Harjas Thiara, who scored five points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Front Range Baptist pushed their record up to 4-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Belleview Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Front Range Baptist on the road again on Thursday and play against Lone Star at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Aleighcea Kuntz and Katie Jaques. As for Belleview Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Dawson School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
