Buena is 1-8-1 against Ironwood Ridge since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Buena Colts will head out on the road to face off against the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks at 4:00 p.m.
After soaring to four goals the game before, Buena were a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 5-0 loss at the hands of Cienega.
Meanwhile, Ironwood Ridge put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They never let Mountain View onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ironwood Ridge.
Buena's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Ironwood Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1.
Buena suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Ironwood Ridge in their previous meeting back in January. Can Buena avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
