The Terrell County Greenwave's game on Tuesday was all tied up 32-32 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 80-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mitchell County. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (55), Terrell County still had to take the loss.
Shaheed Huckaby and Keavonte Anderson certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Huckaby scored 30 points, while Anderson scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Huckaby has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Carter, who scored six points.
This is the second loss in a row for Terrell County and nudges their season record down to 11-12. As for Mitchell County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-5.
Terrell County will take on the Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Georgia (Randolph-Clay is ranked 217th, while the Greenwave are ranked 209th). As for Mitchell County, they will head out on the road to face off against the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
