The Thrall Tigers lost against the St. Michael's Crusaders back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Thrall took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Michael's. Thrall has struggled against St. Michael's recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Thrall lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ashlyn Jarosek, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Kinley Hoffman, who scored 15 points.
Thrall has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for St. Michael's, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Thrall will be home for the holidays to greet Thorndale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Michael's will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lockhart at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th.
