They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over the Rappahannock Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Chargers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Middlesex's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Rappahannock, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Looking ahead, Middlesex will host Mathews  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Rappahannock, they are taking a road trip to  take on Westmoreland  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
