Lee will look to defend their home turf on Friday against East Rockingham at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close matchup.
Last Saturday, Lee secured a 40-35 W over Rockbridge County.
Meanwhile, East Rockingham was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Madison County as the squad secured a 48-13 victory. The East Rockingham offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-0. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, East Rockingham and Lee will really light up the scoreboard.
