Covell Posts Huge Game in 42-0 Win
Starting off the list is Titusville's Jaxon Covell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Covell rushed for 233 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
On the season, Covell has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 42.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had 12 rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 22.

Hickory Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Kelvin Morrison
Hickory picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kelvin Morrison. Morrison turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 152 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Morrison might have his next game, a road matchup with Slippery Rock, circled on his calendar. When Morrison last faced the Rockets back in September of 2023, he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Zander Telesz Makes It Two for Hickory
Keeping Morrison company is Zander Telesz, a fellow Hickory player. He threw for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 72 yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 53 yards.
Telesz and Hickory will face off against Slippery Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Telesz took on the Rockets, he rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 142 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Engelmore Made His Presence Known in Sharon's 63-7 Win
Ethan Engelmore was instrumental in extending Sharon's winning streak to six on Friday. Engelmore was unstoppable, throwing for 196 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punching in a rushing score.
Sharon pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Engelmore and Sharon will square off against Titusville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The second Titusville player making an appearance here is Ian Mcdonald, and for good reason. He rushed for 24 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 94 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.
For the season, Mcdonald has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 126.2 passing yards per game.
