On Thursday Amil Ayoub tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The effort marked the fewest hits Ayoub has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than two hits. This year, he has an ERA of 3.21 over 28.3 innings pitched.
