Garden City suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 78-48 loss at the hands of Robichaud. Garden City has struggled against Robichaud recently, as their game on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Drake Willis put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 24 points. That was a full 50% of Garden City's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Hiett, who scored five points along with 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Annapolis had to suffer through a rough 86-47 loss at the hands of Melvindale. Annapolis has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Garden City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Annapolis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Garden City beat Annapolis 56-43 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garden City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
