The Dunellen Destroyers can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Perth Amboy Vo-Tech 48-21 at home. The win was familiar territory for Dunellen who now have four in a row.
Dunellen got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brielle Villanueva-Jadotte out in front who dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and ten steals. Villanueva-Jadotte hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for 11 straight games. Wendy Woll was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals.
Dunellen is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Perth Amboy Vo-Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
Dunellen will head out on the road to challenge the at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. East Brunswick Vo-Tech comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Perth Amboy Vo-Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Wardlaw Hartridge will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
