Volleyball Recap: Pine Forge Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Pine Forge Academy had won two straight games and Misael Hunt-Butler did his part to make it three on Wednesday. Everything went Pine Forge Academy's way against the Girard College Cavaliers as Pine Forge Academy made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Hunt-Butler, who hit 83.3% for five kills and 15 aces and seven assists. Hunt-Butler is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Pine Forge Academy never let Girard College on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-10.

Pine Forge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Forge Academy will challenge International Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Girard College, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pine Forge Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 22.
