Having just played yesterday, the Clark Chargers will jump right back in to play the Indio Rajahs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Clark is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Indio in their respective states (Clark is ranked 27th in Nevada, while Indio is ranked 1270th in California).
On Thursday, Clark didn't have too much breathing room in their match against La Quinta, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clark.
Clark's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ariana Brown, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. Those 28 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Tavita, who scored nine points along with 21 rebounds and six blocks.
Meanwhile, Indio was beaten by La Quinta 45-10 on Wednesday. Indio has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Clark has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Indio, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
