In what's become a running theme this season, the Kokomo Wildkats gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Logansport, posting a 55-22 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Kokomo sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Aijia Elliott continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Regan McClain, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Logansport's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kellyn Cripe, who scored six points along with three steals.
Kokomo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Logansport, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Kokomo will play host again and welcome the Mavericks, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McCutcheon is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season. Logansport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
