Notre Dame Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Heritage Preparatory Rams at 4:30 p.m. on February 8th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-18, which was the final score in Notre Dame Academy's tilt against Atlanta International on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Notre Dame Academy has scored all season.
Cara Amadi was Notre Dame Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Olivia Bianco held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Heritage Preparatory's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in January after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 63-33 loss at the hands of Furtah Prep.
Notre Dame Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Heritage Preparatory, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
