The Cotter Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Lead Hill Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cotter will be strutting in after a victory while Lead Hill will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Cotter was fully in charge, breezing past Eureka Springs 54-27 at home.
Meanwhile, Lead Hill's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They fell 59-46 to Ozark Mountain. Lead Hill has struggled against Ozark Mountain recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their loss, Lead Hill saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Nolan Turner, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Turner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Gray, who scored 15 points.
Cotter's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Lead Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 11-24.
Cotter came up short against Lead Hill in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, falling 51-43. Can Cotter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
