While the Parkville Knights's victory against the Loch Raven Raiders wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came away the winners. Parkville skirted past Loch Raven 63-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Parkville has posted since December 27, 2023.
Parkville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mikko Persia led the charge by scoring 20 points. Persia has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Council, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Parkville's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Loch Raven, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
Coincidentally, Parkville and Loch Raven will both be playing Dulaney the next time they take the court. Loch Raven will head out to face Dulaney at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Parkville will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
