Carter Jaeger Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Sterling's Carter Jaeger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jaeger's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 140 rushing yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 62 yards.
The victory (which was Sterling's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Jaeger and Sterling will look to defend their home field on Friday against Fort Lupton at 7:00 p.m.

Marcello Rossi's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 126+ rushing yards. He rushed for 216 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
Rossi might have his next game, a road matchup with Brush, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Rossi saw the Beetdiggers), he rushed for 180 yards, and also picked up 42 receiving yards.

He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble, made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defended a pass.
