The Wakefield Bombers lost against the Blue Valley Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Wakefield was outmatched by Blue Valley at home and fell 71-9. Wakefield has struggled against Blue Valley recently, as their game on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Wakefield used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Eli Ponton,
Noa Laffery, and
Isaac Hessling posted three points each.
Wakefield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blue Valley, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Wakefield will head out on the road to face off against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Blue Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pike Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Pike Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
