They walked away with a 24-14 win over Cliffside Park. That's another feather in the cap for Indian Hills, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Indian Hills to victory were Owen Caufield and Joe Cortese. Caufield rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, while Cortese rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Cortese was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.
Another reason for the win was Indian Hills' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Cortese and his two sacks.
Indian Hills is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Cliffside Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
