Tri-County recap November 13, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week, Mohawk Trail Regional beat Franklin County Tech 20-14. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Ware fell to Monument Mountain 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Kyle Laffey was a passing and rushing force as the Eagles fell to Mohawk Trail Regional. Laffey's favorite target this week was Drew Stebbins, who caught 2 passes for 17 yards.
Laffey was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 172 yards on 36 carries as Franklin County Tech defeated Franklin County Tech. Teammate Clint Patenaude added to the ground attack by rushing for 27 yards.
The Warriors' Andrew Doty and Alex Dekoshak have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Doty has thrown for 493 yards this season, while Dekoshak has 16 catches for 152 yards. Joseph Gamache's team's Laffey leads the league in rushing yards with 1,216.
Smith Academy/Smith Vo-Tech led Tri-County in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on St. Joseph Central.
