Unity waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Thorp Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Andrea Erickson paced Unity's offense, picking up 13 kills. Erickson got some help from Ella Johnson and her 11 assists. Katelyn Kahler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Unity's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Thorp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Unity and Thorp will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles will face off against rival Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Thorp is set to take on their familiar foe Cadott at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
