After a string of three wins, the Reagan County Owls's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 40-31 to Wink. Reagan County has not had much luck with Wink recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Aizlyn Dewberry was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds for Wink. That makes it five consecutive games in which Dewberry has scored at least 25% of Wink's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Crystal Quiroz, who scored 8 points.
Reagan County has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 7-2 record. As for Wink, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Reagan County will take on Balmorhea at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wink, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
