Osborne extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Continent (8 Man) this week by beating Clifton-Clyde, 66-56. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Osborne led the league in scoring this week after putting up 66 points on the Eagles. Kenton Ubelaker ran for 240 yards and caught four passes for 60 yards in the win.
Steve Tiernan's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brandt Wolters helped Osborne's passing attack out by catching two balls for 46 yards.
Jake Tiernan put up the best numbers through the air as the Bulldogs defeated Clifton-Clyde. He finished with a total of eight completions for 152 yards and two touchdowns.
Osborne's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tiernan has thrown for 897 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Ubelaker has 27 catches for 486 yards. Ubelaker leads the league in rushing with 1045 yards.
A big matchup in Mid-Continent (8 Man) this week will be when Hill City takes on Trego. At the moment, the Ringnecks are in fourth, while the Golden Eagles are in second.
Hill City made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 996 from 1,053. The improvement came about via a 66-30 victory over Chris Shank's team last week.
