On Wednesday, things could have been worse for Redland Christian Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-43 loss to Pinecrest Glades Academy.
Meanwhile, Colonial Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 48-28 walloping at the hands of Grace Baptist Academy.
Despite the loss, Colonial Christian had strong showings from Kevin Gomez, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds, and Joshua Bertrand, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Gomez scored a full 46.4% of Colonial Christian's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Their wins bumped Redland Christian Academy to 1-2 and Pinecrest Glades Academy to 3-1.
