While losing is never fun, KIPP Tulsa University Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Charles Page is ranked 176th).
Deke Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Charles Page, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Thompson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kason Evans, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
KIPP Tulsa University Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Charles Page, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
KIPP Tulsa University Prep is on the road again on January 12, 2024 and play against Mingo Valley Christian at 8:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Charles Page will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grant at 8:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
