The Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders suffered their closest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They fell just short of Dunellen by a score of 41-38. Piscataway Vo-Tech was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dunellen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Dunellen was led to victory by Vibert Reynolds and Ryan Hutchins. Reynolds scored 12 points, while Hutchins scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Hutchins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jamael Davis, who scored five points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Piscataway Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dunellen, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.
Piscataway Vo-Tech will head out on the road to take on South Amboy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunellen, they will be playing at home against East Brunswick Vo-Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. East Brunswick Vo-Tech is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
