Western SciTech took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They blew past South Pointe 38-6 at home. The Aztec Warrior might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 32 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage Academy). They breezed by Canyon State Academy on the road to the tune of 52-8 on Friday. With that victory, the Heroes brought their scoring average up to 31.2 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elliott Cahall, who picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 74 yards on only eight carries. Seth Skousen was another key player, rushing for 67 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
The win got Western SciTech back to even at 3-3. As for Heritage Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.
