The Plantation Colonels will square off against the Piper Bengals at TBD on Monday.
Last Tuesday, Plantation suffered a tough 43-19 defeat at the hands of the Gators. Plantation has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Piper was able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles on Tuesday, taking the game 43-35. The win was just what Piper needed coming off of a 66-30 loss in their prior game.
Piper's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harmony Harris, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Tahlia Dolce, who scored 12 points.
Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Piper, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
Plantation took a serious blow against the Bengals when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 52-4. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Harris, who scored 23 points. Now that Plantation knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time?
