Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Stringer walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Enterprise Yellowjackets  an   8-0 shutout  on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their 17th in a row.
Not much got past  Madilyn Graham, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Enterprise off the board. Graham has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Stringer let  Rylei Pickerell and  Jaycee Holifield run wild. Pickerell  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  triple, while  Holifield  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  double. Those  four  hits gave  Pickerell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kayleigh Douglas, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Stringer  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Enterprise only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
Stringer's record is now 24-3-2. As for Enterprise,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 17-14.
Stringer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellowjackets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
