Softball Recap: Inglemoor Has No Trouble Against Hazen

After only one run in their last match, Inglemoor made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hazen on Monday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 19-3 victory. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Sophia Pearson (2025) was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jade Cisneroz (2025), who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Inglemoor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hazen only posted a batting average of .158.

Inglemoor's win bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Hazen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Coming up, Inglemoor will venture away from home to face off against Newport - Bellevue at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Hazen, they will be playing at home against Cedarcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders are facing the Red Wolves at the right time seeing as the Red Wolves are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
