Sheyenne Holmes made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs.
In other batting news, Rickards got a massive performance out of Arriana Wilson, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Alivia Scott was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Rickards hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.
