Douglass have to be aching after a bruising 6-38 loss to St. James. The state rankings had actually given Douglass a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped Douglass' record to 3-1. The win bumped St. James' record up to 3-1.
Next week Douglass take on Poly . Poly also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their previous matchup, so look for the defenses to decide this one. St. James will stay at home against Sidwell Friends at 2:00 PM. St. James will be strutting in after a victory while Sidwell Friends will be stumbling in from a loss.
