Ingraham will challenge Silas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ingraham 2.4, Silas 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Ingraham's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Lakeside. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Ingraham got a great performance from Takeshi Malady as he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, Malady posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Edgar Pravitz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Harry Hayes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Silas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out River Ridge 3-1.
Carter Lystra was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs.
Lystra wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cade Owen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.
Silas hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive matchups.
Silas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Ingraham, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Ingraham has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Silas struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
