The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Krempp, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, East Lake can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match last Wednesday. They blew past Pinellas Park, posting a 61-33 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory East Lake has posted since November 20, 2023.
East Lake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kierra Pitts out in front who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pitts has scored all season. Amanda Egipciaco was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Palm Harbor University has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for East Lake, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Palm Harbor University hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 50.1 points per game. It's a different story for East Lake, though, as they've been averaging only 44.7 points per game. The only thing between Palm Harbor University and another offensive beatdown is East Lake.
