The Roger Bacon Spartans will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Roger Bacon, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Roger Bacon was able to grind out a solid victory over the Blue Devils, taking the game 51-43. The victory was just what Roger Bacon needed coming off of a 81-27 loss in their prior contest.
Roger Bacon had a senior duo take command as Leah Fulton scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists and Morgan Rohling scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Mariah Henderson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 44-27 to Seven Hills.
Roger Bacon's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Roger Bacon was able to grind out a solid win over the Eagles when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 49-37. Will Roger Bacon repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
