After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westlake, the Sky View Bobcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They secured a 41-35 W over Springville. That's another feather in the cap for Sky View, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Sky View got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Karlee Allen out in front who scored 13 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Fischer, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and four steals.
Sky View's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Springville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sky View will face off against Syracuse at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Springville, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Cedar Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Springville in Utah (Cedar Valley is ranked 30th, while Springville is ranked 85th).
