The Pike County Bulldogs lost against the New Brockton Gamecocks back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Pike County was the victim of a tough 57-33 defeat at the hands of New Brockton. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pike County in their matchups with New Brockton: they've now lost three in a row.
New Brockton found their leader in underclassman Reese Eddins, who scored 16 points along with four steals and two blocks. Eddins hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Emily Grace Peeples, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Pike County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16. As for New Brockton, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-5.
Pike County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. New Brockton also has no future games currently scheduled.
