Basketball Recap: Huntington Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Raeley Sebek and Alyssa Anderson + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 23-23 at halftime, Huntington was not quite San Augustine's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The loss put an end to the Red Devils' undefeated start to the season.

Huntington's loss came despite strong showings from Alyssa Anderson and Raeley Sebek. Anderson posted 12 points in addition to eight boards and six steals, while Sebek almost dropped a triple-double with nine points, nine rebounds, and 12 steals. Sebek is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Maecie Sebek was another key player, putting up four points and eight rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Huntington fell to 2-1. As for San Augustine, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Huntington will take on Nederland at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for San Augustine, they are taking a road trip to square off against Gary at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
