Even though the Harrisburg Bulldogs scored an imposing 70 points on Friday, the Massac County Patriots still came out on top. Massac County managed a 76-70 win over the Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Massac County also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Isaac Hosman, who scored 25 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Harmon, who scored 18 points.
Massac County has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Harrisburg, they dropped their record down to 13-14 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Massac County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Bombers at 6:15 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Harrisburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
