Palmer Trinity hasn't had much luck against Dr. Krop recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Palmer Trinity got a great performance from Miles Tolmach as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Tolmach a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
At the plate, Nicholas Miraglia was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Lorenzo Rodriguez was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
Palmer Trinity kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Dr. Krop didn't have quite enough to beat JC Bermudez Doral on Wednesday and fell 5-4.
Rolando Rivera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI. Another player making a difference was Myles Green, who scored two runs and stole a base.
Palmer Trinity's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Dr. Krop, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
Dr. Krop's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Palmer Trinity hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340.
