Barron Collier's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but SHEILA FORBES led the charge by scoring 15 points along with 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of bella Stephens, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Golden Gate's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eslynda Bouzi, who scored 5 points.
Barron Collier's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Golden Gate, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Barron Collier will be playing at home against Monsignor Pace at 9:09 p.m. on Friday. Golden Gate is on the road again on Friday and play against First Baptist Academy at 11:20 a.m. on November 24th. Hopefully First Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Wednesday.
