The Park View Patriots put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Manassas Park 59-23 at home. Given Park View's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Manassas Park is ranked 336th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Anna Helstrom, who scored 22 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Park View's points. Another player making a difference was Carly Earnhart, who scored 5 points along with 18 rebounds.
Park View's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Manassas Park, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Park View will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Unity Reed at 6:30 p.m. Manassas Park's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fauquier at 7:15 p.m. on December 12th. Fauquier is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
